Points for league matches format.

Approved by coaches with majority vote (12-9) on 12-1-13

1. 1.Win = 4 pts
2. 2.Tie= 2 pts
3. 3.Loss by 7 or fewer = 1 pt
4. 4.Defaulting on a league match = loss of 1pt
5. 5.Scoring 4 or more tries = 1 pt

All teams are required to play their full match league schedule.  If a team cannot complete their entire league the teams shall send in an explanation to the executive board.

1. A.If the board determines by a vote that the match could have been played, it will be recorded as a forfeit for both teams with a 0 point allotment.
2. B.If the board determines it was impossible to play the match due to weather conditions or special circumstances, including possible makeup dates, etc., both teams will be awarded their average league standing points for this match.

The average league standing points will be determined by dividing the total league standing points by the number of matches played.

For example if a team played 7 matches and had 4 wins and 3 losses, they have 16 league standing points (4pts x 4 wins). 16 points divided by 7 matches played = 2.28.

If a team played 8 games and had 4 wins and 4 losses, they have 16 league standing points (4pts x4 wins) 16 points divided 8 matches played = 2.00

C. Average league standing points will only be awarded to those teams who were unable to complete their full league schedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
